Intern & Work Placements
Here at 10 Yetis Public Relations, as the company has grown so has the number of school, college and university leavers looking for a work placement or internship with us.
Up until this point we have been very flattered but only ever taken a few people up on their request, until now!
We are setting up a Yeti-Placement program where people can apply to come on board for a short period of time.
The Internships will be on a one to three month basis with a salary of £6p/h based on a 37.5hr week. The work experience opportunities have no salary but do include travel expenses and will typically be one to two weeks long (aimed predominantly at School and College leavers).

To give yourself a head-start we love people who have a basic understanding of, and interest in, the media in general (!!), public relations, press release writing, basic search engine optimisation and social media skills (Facespacing your Twitbook). You don't need to go overboard in your research, just have a rough idea what we are on about.
We aim to make the Work Experience and Intern placements a valuable part of your learning about working for a modern day digital PR Agency and this means, no stapling, photocopying or any of the other dull admin stuff interns usually get.

Admin Officer
10 Yetis Public Relations has experienced significant growth over the last year and is now looking for a motivated, well organised and confident Admin Executive to join the team.
The role will initially be part time, 4 hours per day, 2 days per week but hours may increase over time. The successful applicant will have responsibility for bookkeeping, issuing invoices, booking travel and accommodation, managing the team diary and general office administration duties.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate a good grasp of maths and English and bring mature outlook to the role.
Web Developer
You'll work closely with our existing web team providing technical solutions for developing interactive websites so you'll need to know PHP, HTML and MYSQL. Knowledge of other web languages is preferable but not essential.
The ideal applicant will be a confident, quick learner with a strong grasp of web technologies, an interest in keeping up with the latest trends and the ability to work to strict deadlines. You will be able to provide innovative technical solutions, get involved with new ideas and make suggestions for development projects.
Sense of humour is a must, as is the need to be able to get along with animals (a small but growing office dog called Hugo). Experience is not as important as finding the right person for the role though you will need to demonstrate you have development skills by providing us with examples of past projects.
The role would probably suit a recent computer science graduate or alike who is looking for their first opportunity to work alongside an exciting and dynamic team.
Maths and English GCSE (or equiv) is a must.
