Good PR
Last night saw the 2010 BAFTA awards and all the celebrities turned up to celebrate. It was a good night for Ant and Dec who actually won their first ever award during last nights ceremony. They have been nominated 6 times during their 20-year career on television, Geordie duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 35, picked up the award for Entertainment Performance for fronting ITV's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
'You feed a couple of kangaroo testicles to a glamour model and you get a Bafta,' joked Ant.
Well done to the Ant and to the Dec.
Bad PR
They say that there is nothing more dangerous than a woman scorned, and Thomas Cook knows this all to well now. Angry bride Austin Kettle, 26, now answers to ‘Mrs Lorraine Darla I Hate Thomas Cook And Its Associates Big Shot Company Treading on the Little Guy Leeks’.
The bride had booked her honeymoon, due to take place in February 2011, under her married name, but then after realising that she wouldn't have enough time to change her passport details attempted to change it back, but was told by the travel agent that she would have to pay a fee.
She changed her name, include her first name from Austin to Lorraine, using the Legal Deed Poll Service. She said: ‘I wasn’t angry with Thomas Cook; at first I was a bit upset but it was just a bit of a crazy moment. My fiancé thinks I’m crazy. The amusing thing is he will have to say my new name during the wedding ceremony.’
Seems a lot like cutting of your nose to spite your face if you ask me.
